Bible Verse of the Day, Wednesday 26th February 2025

“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” – Romans 5:1 (NIV)

Prayer Before Reading:
Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your Word that brings life and truth. As we read this verse, open our hearts to understand the power of justification through faith. Help us to grasp the peace we have in You, and let this truth shape how we live and interact with others. Holy Spirit, guide us into a deeper awareness of Your grace and love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Message from the Verse:
Romans 5:1 is a beautiful reminder of the heart of the gospel. Through faith in Jesus Christ, we are justified — declared righteous before God. This justification is not something we earn; it’s a gift of grace. As a result, we have peace with God, meaning our relationship with Him is restored. This peace is not just the absence of conflict but a deep, abiding wholeness that comes from knowing we are fully accepted and loved by God.

Today’s Bible Verse Lessons:
1. Justification by Faith: We are made right with God not by works, but through believing in Jesus’ sacrifice.
2. Peace with God: Faith brings lasting peace — a restored relationship with God, free from condemnation.
3. Grace, Not Effort: Our righteousness is a gift of grace, not something we achieve through our own strength.
4. Confidence in God’s Love: Knowing we are justified gives us confidence to approach God without fear or shame.

Bible References:
Ephesians 2:8-9 – “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God…”
Isaiah 53:5 – “The punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds, we are healed.”
John 14:27 – “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you…”
Galatians 2:16 – “A person is not justified by the works of the law, but through faith in Jesus Christ.”

Closing Prayer:
Loving Father, Thank You for justifying us through faith in Jesus. Thank You for the peace that comes from being reconciled to You. Help us to live in the freedom of Your grace and to extend that peace to others. May we never take this gift for granted, but instead walk boldly in the confidence of Your love. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
